Happily, I have lived in Closter for 40 years raising three children with my husband, Nathan. As a member of the community I have served on the Planning Board, DPW, Building Department Committee, Shade Tree Commission, Improvement Commission, Ordinance Committee, Parking Authority and Human Resources.  In the next few years, we expect to see great changes to our downtown shopping center come to fruition and I look forward to the progress of that happening.

My husband and I have lived in Closter for 26 years, and have raised all three of our grown children here. I have served on the Closter Council for 14 years. I have been the Police Commissioner for 8 years, Liaison to the Closter Library for 14 years, Liaison to the Northern Valley High School for 10 years, and am also a member of the Human Resources and Ordinances Committees. In the past I also served as the Commissioner for both the Department of Public Works and the Fire Department.

My community involvement has also included serving on the former Temple Beth El Board of Trustees for over 12 years, being an assistant Girl Scout leader, and participating with various other community organizations.

In serving as an elected official of Closter, I try to bring an open mind to whatever issues might arise, to listen to all Closter residents and respond to their concerns in a civil, compassionate and helpful manner. I am proud to call myself a public servant for the residents of Closter and support initiatives that I believe are in the town’s best interest, both for the Closter of today and tomorrow.
