Traffic Division

The Traffic Division works to coordinate the efforts of the Closter Police Department in making the Borough roadways a safer place for everyone. We aim to accomplish this through fair and impartial enforcement of motor vehicle laws, investigations of motor vehicle crashes and education of the public. 

The Traffic Division conducts numerous traffic safety programs which include: Radar Enforcement, Pedestrian Crosswalk Safety, Child Seat Inspections, Click-it-or-Ticket, Drive Sober or get pulled over and DWI checkpoints.
